It’s my Birthday Month, that’s what March is to me. LOL but on a serious note it represents spirituality to me. March reminds me that there is something bigger inside of me, that keeps me going and pushes me forward. It reminds me I have a purpose and a goal in this life, and to live….It reminds me spirituality isn’t always about religion but where we connect and what connects us to a higher being and peace.
I’ve chosen Labradorite for the March stone due to its always been one of my favorites. When you 1st look at Labradorite all you see is a grayish colored stone but when you really look you see the hidden fire within of multiple colors. Another reminder of the fire that is hidden inside of each of us and to embrace it.
Labradorite deposits can be found all over the world, but it is particularly prevalent in Nordic countries like Norway and Finland, as well as North American countries like the USA and Canada.
A stone of transformation, Labradorite is a useful companion through change, imparting strength and perseverance. It balances and protects the aura, raises consciousness and grounds spiritual energies. Excellent for strengthening intuition – promoting psychic abilities.
Labradorite banishes fears and insecurities, and strengthens faith in the self and trust in the universe. It stimulates the imagination and calms an overactive mind, developing enthusiasm and new ideas.
Cleansing Labradorite can be done by one of the following ways: placing it in sunlight, moonlight, sound, smoke, or place in soil for 24 to 48 hours to allow the Earth to clear and re-energize it.
