Nightingale

The Nightingale Collection is a labor of love for me. It is in remembrance of my Mom who passed in January and is part of my healing and remembering her. It is also a way to share my mom with all of you and a few of the things she loved.

This collection is just getting started and it takes me a long time to even do 1 piece. There are tears, laughter and remembrances. My mom loved jewelry, books, animals, plants and so much more. This collection is made from pieces of her costume jewelry, ( many being collectable Avon, Nolan Miller, Honora Pearls and Joan Rivers) and semi precious stones. The 1st thing that came to mind when I decided to do this was to incorporate her love of jewelry and books, therefore the 1st items in this series are bookmarks. And as I have typed descriptions and put crystal meanings down for you, I have noticed that subconsciously all the crystals that were chosen describe my mom to a T and also help with grief. She is always with me.
